I know you think this is a great idea right now but you need to realize that should they decide to sue you, even if they win, you could be ruined by the cost of defending yourself.

The only time he pay was when he was having problems with employment. I thought Child was based on your wage, if you making a wage, how can you owe? And how could it come up to over $15K, and then to $18K AFTER the $4K was taken? When he was employed, he was paying, and the state agrees with that, so why did they do what they did, and then not give the money they cleared out of his account to the person he owed the to, the mother/s of his child/ren?

But there are very real differences and reasons why you get this mish mash of pricing in my breed. AKC breeders are breeding usually only for physical type and occasionally you will find a breeder with some "not bragging about" herding titles… I guess they are at least trying to show the dogs can do "something" in regards to original function. But in general, your show type dogs are going to cost more. You have a breeder who is spending a large chunk of cash to finish that dog and maybe special that dog. In general, show dogs will fetch a higher price because people who are into that will pay the big bucks for that "almost perfect" dog.

Now in working lines, they charge much for their pups because they know that even with good working parents, a it is still a bit of a crap shoot. You know it is much more likely you will end up with a good working dog, but no guarantee. And in working lines, a dog really have much value unless it has some herding training on it first. Trained trial dogs go for some very big bucks in the herding world of USBCHA too.

When you talk about those sites that sell, I am sure they are taking a guess at what they think along with trying to make as much profit as they can. But in the end, I bet a bunch of the bad breeders send the rest off to rescue or the pound when they unload them for their desired profit range. Ugh.

I *always* make sure charging less than the pet stores. And I keep an eye on my local often at least a couple hundred dollars less than the BYBs, which boggles my mind. I really know where they come up with their prices. Probably at the pet stores.

ADD: I admit that I look at the Siberians on those sites once in awhile, too. Masochistic voyeurism. seen people heard of…but I have yet to see anyone I respect.

The of the that Paul mentions in the book of Romans, where he is addressing the Jewish Christians in Rome who are boasting of their Jewish righteousness through the law, is the entire Mosaic law.  That includes circumcision for sure because that is what Paul was addressing, whether Gentiles should be circumcised. But, it also includes the entire Torah including the 10 commandments.  So we could substitute works of Torah for works of law and it would mean the same thing. Paul says Christians are justified through faith in Christ rather than through works of Torah (Mosaic Law) (Rom 3:28). Since when we are baptized into Christ ( Rom 6:4) we die with Christ and are no longer bound to the law that is only valid while one is alive (Rom 7:2).

And we are given the righteousness of Christ rather than the righteousness that comes from keeping the law (Rom 3:21-22). not that righteousness through the law is bad but it requires one to be perfect so that if I break the law only once I am guilty of breaking all of the law. Thus, there is no distinction between Jew and gentile since both are guilty of having transgressed the law. That is why righteousness through Christ is by faith and not through the law.

This means we Christians are free from the curse of the law since the curse that we deserved from breaking the law ourselves, was upon Christ on the Cross (Is 53:5).  Our debt owed due to transgressing the law is forgiven through ransom and sacrifice as the of God who takes away the sins of the (Jn 1:29).

"Christ ransomed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written, "Cursed be everyone who hangs on a tree". [Gal 3:13]

This does not free us from the moral requirements of God which are his eternal laws however but instead Christ empowers us to keep those requirements because he gives us his Spirit and writes His eternal laws on our as of the New Covenant [Jer 31:31-34].  

Paul says in Romans 3:13 we still uphold the law.  But Paul was not saying we still circumcise the Gentile by saying this. Thus, although we are empowered to keep the eternal law by the Spirit, not all of the requirements of the old covenant law are necessary for us to observe under the New Covenant.  Only those eternal Laws that God writes on our and those laws that he gives under the guidance of the Holy Spirit through His Church that He gave His keys to the kingdom and the authority to bind and to loose (Mt 16:18-19).

There are a number of practices under the old covenant that were temporary that point to the new covenant.  A new covenant always replaces or takes precedence over the old. We no longer practice animal sacrifice or Jewish feasts or the Jewish Sabbath or circumcision for instance. These were shadows of things to come now fulfilled in Christ.

It just a matter of the Apostles figuring these things out (like whether gentiles should be circumcised) but it was revealed to them by the Holy Spirit. Thus, the early Church written about in the bible had the God given authority to make these decisions.

in regards to icing, you may think that it is too thick, but professional cake decorators use EXTREMELY thick icing. they have to develop muscles to be able to squeeze the bags & they develop carpal tunnel syndrome and all of other complications.

a lot of people think cake decorating is so easy and so fun and whatnot, but actually a very labor intensive job that requires an flair for you to be even remotely good at it. you have to have good knowledge of how to use colors and how to mix colors. also, if you work in a shop or at a bakery doing cakes, you will be expected to produce 30-100 cakes everyday, plus decorate cupcakes, write on cakes, wait on customers, etc. my been a professional decorator for 26 years & has carpal tunnel syndrome in both arms (and has had surgeries in both arms), she had a shoulder injury where she had to have a bone removed from her shoulder, her tendons in her feet are torn to shreds, her back and stomach constantly, because she has to lift, throw and 80lb freight with no one to help her & has to be in a freezer constantly, because despite what you think, they usually bake cakes on site anymore, they buy them, frozen, and NONE of them are "fresh".. lol on top of all that, you have some customers that genuinely appreciate your & then some people that are so ungrateful that they just throw your work on the floor (literally) and demand that they get another cake for free. not a fun occupation….

the people you see on TV use fondant & rice crispy treats. dunno how that is CAKE decorating, but whatever floats your boat, i guess. if those people had to use buttercream or whipped frosting and decorate things, they be nearly as impressive.. anyone can roll out fondant and drape it over rice crispy treats & call it a cake.
